Illinois Civil Unions and Estate Planning

This podcast will touch on issues relative to estate planning, elder law and property issues in light of the Civil Unions Law that became effective in June of this year.  Specifically, it will describe matters relating to inheritance, healthcare decision-making, employee benefits and welfare plans, and the ability of partners in a civil union to avail themselves of the benefits of holding their homes in tenancy by the entirety.
