How to Handle Criminal Investigations in Medicare

The Office of the Inspector General along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been ramping up their focus on Medicare fraud over the past couple years.  As a result, Medicare certified home health care companies are now subject to investigation, including subpoenas and or search warrants.  All owners of home health care companies must be aware of the increased focus and be ready with a plan in the event they are the subject of an investigation.
