Lisette Laboy was born August 1966 in Brooklyn New York of Puerto Rican decent, growing up in the Housing Authority and attending Boys and Girls High School. Ms. Laboy has been around the Martial Arts Community a little over 20 years but became very serious about her training over the last 15 years after being introduced to Grandmaster Cotton and the Shinjimasu Martial Arts Association.  During the last 15 years Ms. Laboy had to over come the serious obstacles with her health. She continues with her training thru the color belt ranks and learning the Constitutional Laws and By Laws of Shinjimasu and the Association. After earning her Black Belt Ms Laboy took on the challenge of learning The Internal and External Energy of Brick Destruction. After reaching the level of Master (5Th Degree Black Belt) Ms. Laboy was ready for the challenge of learning The Majestic Art of Iadio.  Ms. Laboy at present has reached the 3rd level of The Art of The Katana and has demonstrated at many Seminars, Dojo’s and Martial Arts functions her love, dedication and respect for the Majestic Art of Kings all the while continuing her duties as the director of Operations for the Shinjimasu Academy of Fighting Education (S.A.F.E) and also administrating the day to day martial arts activities of Grandmaster Cotton and the students of Shinjimasu Academy of Fighting Education (S.A.F.E.)
