As I write this, Mike Shannahan is getting a second interview. Does this mean he has a better shot at the head coaching position in Miami than other candidates? Not necessarily!
We know that Dan Campbell and Gase (Chicago OC) have scheduled interviews as well. I for one would ask you this question: Would you prefer an older coach with experience like a Mike Shannahan or Sean Payton,? or some new young blood with fire and new tactics gives you more excitement for these struggling Dolphins??
Either direction is bound for the critiques of large portions of the disgruntled fan base. Older will hear the "same ole rut" and "the old ways are out dated" as well as "Back to the good ole days" remarks. The younger will hear "no experience" and "the next 3 years will be crap as we grow" statements.
All these GREAT toys (talented players) and no batteries (direction) need something for sure but, there are many different opinions as to what direction we should go. What's your say?? Lets hear it Thursday evening at 6:30 (est.) when ya call in at (516) 453- 9433 on Dolfinatics radio!!
Seeya then!
