Has anyone ever considered the concept of a social media experiment where a person himself becomes the guinea pig? Intriguing and captivating…absolutely! But Keith Fenimore is taking a slightly different approach and utilizing a more creative way to make his unfamiliar face the perfect blank slate for his experiment. An experiment where he aims to become ‘The Most Recognizable Person in America.” Keith attended Old Dominion University and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is the senior producer for Howard Stern TV and has created various TV reality shows for network and production companies such as A&E, TV Guide Channel, Fox Reality, VH-1 and E! Despite his background in production, Keith is his very own next production! But what is simply fascinating and appealing about Keith Fenimore is how he is enthralled, enamored and perplexed by what is the nature of a celebrity, how is a buzz created and how is the complexity/simplicity of modern day communication exchange used? The allure of what he is doing is that his social media experiment is not about him being for or against anything nor is he selling, promoting or marketing a product. So then why is he doing this? He doesn’t care if he is liked or develops a fan base, but is solely doing this because nothing like it has been done before and he wants to see if it can be done. He is not looking for recognition for recognition sake, but it is simply the end result of this experiment's success. It’s also a phenomenon to see if he can manipulate the system by being transparent, but this is not your typical ‘malingerer’ who seeks secondary gain since it’s not about capitalizing on scandal, tragedy or money. Rather his social media experiment it is about wisdom, irony and fun! With enough exposure, he successfully can become the next phenomenon! It is out of his hands and up to the masses. What will they do with it?
