Derrick Gilbert is a singer/songwriter from Copperas Cove, TX. His latest project "Wagon Grease" is set to be released in Spring 2018. The first single off of the 5 song EP is called "Starting Over". Derrick says "After watching what's been happening in Houston after Hurricane Harvey's damage, I just wanted to sing a song that reflects hope and love". "Starting Over" is about leaving the past behind and moving forward in faith". 

"Wagon Grease" is the first release in nearly a decade for Gilbert and offers a retro sound for today's' music market. His approach to music has remained remarkable. "Starting Over" gives listeners, new and old, a much-needed dose of fun and Funk!!
