On the show today we will be discussing the issues of racism and sexual harassment both real and imagined—the fact that sometimes our perceptions are skewed because of past hurts or personal abuses, we may perceive harassment or racism when in fact we just may have a biased view.
We will discuss the statistics of sexual harassment claims in America as well as look at the consequences if any, for these actions. What are the percentages and what do they say to the many victims. We also examine recent multiple claims against the rich and famous, Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, and others; asking the questions what took these people so long to come forward; and are some people just jumping on the proverbial bandwagon of sexual assault claims because it is now the “in thing” to do.
On the topic of racism in America, we will look at the many disparities between Black and so-called reverse racism against Whites who make statements such as that they were discriminated against because they didn’t get a job or college entrance because it was given to a Black person or another person of color. We will discuss living with racism daily from a Black man’s perspective, where simply being born black, male and living in America places an everlasting target and death threat in your life.
Come join us as we delve into these topics from all sides of the coin. We welcome your viewpoints and input.
