The Prophecy of the Birth of Messiah (Micah 4:8; Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:4-6), It Is Not Too Early to Discuss the Birth of Messiah, the Prince of Peace!

Obviously, the Bible is very clear, there would be NO True Peace on earth until the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus would return to earth! Before I speak about this Perfect Peace which Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 9:6, and Isaiah 7:14 KJV.

Before we discuss His birth, it is important to learn about the kings and the rulers shortly before and after His birth.

1- Augustus, ruled from 43 BC to 14 AD.

2. Quirinius, was the governor, under the governor of Syria, Varus at the time of the census mentioned in the Bible, in Luke 2:2.

3- Josephus, refers to a census in 6 AD when Quirinius was the governor. Egyptian chronicles state that a census was done by the Roman government every 14 years, normally, it took several years to complete the census.

4- Herod the Great, was alive at the birth of Messiah. Herod the Great died on January 14, 1 BC.

5- Irenaeus, said that Jesus was born in 41 st. year of the reign of Augustus.

6- Eusebius, says the same thing about the birth of Christ,

7- Messiah, was probably born on September 29, 2 BC.

Isaiah 9:6 gives us five references that refer to the Peace associated with Messiah, the Lord Jesus.

a) First, the Peace mentioned in Isaiah 9:6 refers to Messiah Himself that He will bring on earth, as we read in Isaiah 9:6 KJV.

b) Secondly, this Peace is associated with His death on the Cross mentioned in Colossians 1:20 KJV.
