When it comes to our health many individuals take it for granted. However, when an individual is informed that they have issues regarding their mental health life can become more challenging. Mental Health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how one think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how one handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. There are millions of individuals that are struggling. Millions of family members are also clueless as such is causing a concern for many. I can recall as a child being told that individuals were either too happy or just in a bad mood. Then  I learned of the word Anxiety and Depression. The new word is now Bi-Polar.

Depression and Anxiety has met its match. Let's end the confusion regarding the lows and the highs. Let's also stop being afraid and self medicating. Depression and Anxiety affect about 12.3 million people in the United States. And as many as 60 million people worldwide.Half of all patients begin seeing symptoms between the age of 15 to 25. There is no cure but for many people the symptoms can be controlled with treatment.

Bi Polar can present with many symptoms. This can also leave the individual and others feeling helpless, emotional and out of control. There is hope once one obtain a better understanding.
