Vajracharya Douglas Sutton is Vice Abbot of the Dari Rulai Temple.   He has practiced Esoteric Dharma since 2000 under the guidance of Maha Vairocana Dharma King Dechan Jueren, the 49th Dharma Lineage Holder of the Chinese Esoteric School (Shingon is a off shoot of the Chinese Esoteric School), and the 47th Lineage Holder of Linji Chan Buddhism (Rinzai Zen comes from Linji).

Douglas Sutton returned to the U.S.over a year ago after spending eight years inChina. He is an ordained teacher of theMysterySchoolcharged with transmitting this ancient lineage’s teachings in the West. The Lineage is over 2500 years old and includes the accumulated wisdom of Enlightened Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian masters.

The Chinese Esoteric School’s meditation practices use the “Three Mysteries”; Mantra, Mudra, and Visualization to guide practitioners along the path of self knowledge and self change. “The more you want to change the world, the more you need to be able to change yourself”… The Esoteric School teaches the methods to attain enlightenment in this lifetime”
