Todd Okerlund joins SGWS

We are very excited to bring to you the son of legendary broadcaster "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Todd Okerlund. Todd was a decorated hockey player that even played in the NHL. While he was following his hockey dreams his father was becoming a house hold name in the wrestling business. "Mean" Gene became just as well known as the wrestlers that he would interview on television and even had his own action figures and appeared on a Saturday morning cartoon. Todd eventually found his way to wrestling where he worked with his father on Classic Wrestling which brought older wrestling footage together with modern wrap arounds with the Okerlunds to PPV in the 2000s. We'll talk to Todd about what it was like being the son of one of the more popular figures in pro wrestling and what it was like working with him for a time. We might even get into a bit of hockey talk with a guy that knows something about the sport. Join us for what should be a really fun interview.
