 “Life is full of Trials and Temptations”   James 1:2-8

SOMETIME IT'S ONLY A TEST

1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. 

James makes the statement that when you fall, not if you fall.  This life will have divers (which means many) temptations (which is a form of testing) whether caused by the world and Satan or created by you or some may be designed by God. Always remember that nothing in this life can happen unless God plans it or He allows it. Your negative experiences are to be accepted with joy, not for the trail itself but because of the positive work God can accomplish through them and sometime it’s only a test.  God is in control and has designs everything that happens in your life, so learn to trust him. The joy James is speaking of can only be accomplished if you have the blessed assurance that you are a child of God, been born again, and your soul is secured in Him.  Once you know who you are and understand that there is different between happy and joy you will understand that joy stand in the mist of a storm and happy is blown away by the winds of the storm.  Even in our temptation, trails and testing the scriptures tells us that if we love the Lord, He will work it out. Things that the devil set us for our bad, God can turn them around for our good.
