Jesus Bridged the gap between God and us
Matthew 27:50–51
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent (torn) in twain (two) from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent (spilt).
Jesus had suffered, was beaten, shed His blood and hung on the cross and now dies. But once He did the veil of the temple was torn in two top to bottom. Jesus blood provided life for the sinner and His death removed the barrier between God and man. The temple was the place where animal sacrifices were carried out and worship according to the Law of Moses was followed faithfully. The temple had three main parts, the court, the Holy Place (where only the priest could enter), and the Most Holy Place where the presents of God was (and only the High Priest could enter, only once a year, to atone for the sins of the nation). The curtain or veil separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place was torn in two at Christ’s death,
