Florida State Constitution https://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Constitution
In Florida, ballot measures can be placed before voters in two ways — either by the state Legislature with 60% support among both House and Senate members, or by citizens through a petition process. However amendments land on the ballot, they require 60% plus one voter support to pass. To remove an amendment from the state constitution, another ballot measure must appear on the ballot.
Florida also requires proposed amendments to focus on a single subject, meaning amendments cannot be bundled to include different items.

S07/E39: Winning Strategies for Democrats in Florida and Texas
Florida and Texas are pivotal states in the US electoral landscape. Both states have diverse populations and significant electoral college votes, making them key targets for Democrats in the 2024 election cycle. To win these states, Democrats need to adopt tailored strategies that resonate with local voters, address pressing issues, and capitalize on demographic trends.
Both Ted Cruz and Rick Scott tenure as US Senators raise significant questions about their characters and capability to lead. Their continued toxic divisive rhetoric, blatant disregard for democratic norms, questionable business practices before assuming office, and failure to address their respective states' pressing issues leaves a lot to be desired. Doesn't Florida and Texas deserve better US Senators?
We'll look at inroads their opponents have made as we sprint towards the finish line. A week is a lifetime in politics and anything is possible. Can Democrats pull off major upsets in these two deep red states or is it just wishful thinking by progressives? Anything is possible as Colin Allred and Debbie Murcel-Powell are giving the incumbent US Senators a serious run for their money.

We had a good show to give you last Friday but, it didn't happen because AGAIN BTR wasn't working. I really don't understand their troubles since being here I have never had to miss a show because of BTR not working till this last year. And I have been doing my shows here since about 2007! Over the last 5 months, I have missed more shows because of BTR than I ever have since the beginning, 17 years ago. So what is their problem? I don't know but looking for a better platform like maybe Rumble. Maybe Rumble needs to buy BTR. Hmmmm?
